Most residential fence installs run 2–5 days for 150–250 linear feet. Concrete-set posts add a half-day for curing before panels go up. Long custom runs (300+ LF), sloped terrain, or tree-root obstacles can stretch to 1–2 weeks. Chain-link goes fastest (1–2 days for 150 ft). Wood with concrete-set posts: 2–4 days. Vinyl: 2–3 days. Wrought iron or ornamental aluminum: 3–5 days because of panel-by-panel alignment. Permit application typically adds 1–3 weeks before crew can start.
